2017 may just be the biggest year in games. Virtual Reality is on the market and games are making their way out on the floor, old franchises are coming back from the grave (causing old fans to flail about in excitement), and there are new games that are so beautiful that just watching the trailers might make the viewer’s eye sockets pop out of their head.

With so many amazing games coming out, it is important to showcase what could possibly be the best games of the year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The list has been ordered according to the released dates having the games coming in 2017 at the top and games coming in 2018 in the middle of the list. Games with uncertain release date have been placed at the bottom. Some of the games with uncertain release date may be released in 2017 but we placed them in the bottom due to uncertainty.

In the quest, You (as Chloe Frazer) will be a mercenary Nadine Ross. To succeed in the quest, you have to solve puzzles and explore the game world on foot or by vehicle. You can use firearms and melee weapons and stealth to defend against the enemies.

Destiny 2

However, the biggest feature that I am interested in is the dynamic weather conditions. The dynamic weather conditions will have a sizable effect on the handling of the car. Think about driving during a snowy weather. Another major improvement is the addition of rally racing. Project Cars 2 will support HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on release while PS VR support will be added later.

Metro: Last Night was one of my favorite FPS  and I am pretty excited about the Metro: Exodus ever since I first saw the E3 gameplay trailer and so is everyone else. The game looks stunning and scary featuring the post-apocalyptic monsters that you have to fight with a limited supply of ammo. The game is a good blend of combat, stealth, exploration, horror, and survival.

Beyond Good And Evil 2

Beyond Good And Evil 2 was one of the biggest surprises of the E3 2017. Coming after almost 15 years since the original Beyond Good And Evil was released, fans of the games are pretty much excited about the game. Looking at the Gameplay trailer above, I am also very excited. The game is set in an outer world where a number of species also including humans interact with each other. The outer world setting of the game looks amazing and the characters seem to be funny. The game will include a beautiful scripted single player mode as well as a multiplayer mode which we have yet to see.

This is definitely a game that has gotten a lot of hype throughout the past year, and will most likely be the best PS4 game for 2017. It comes out 02/17/2017.

There is a multitude of other games coming out this year that look amazing, d are sure to take up that precious storage space on the PS4 this year, but these three games should be the best games to come out this year. Yooka-Laylee is sure to be a simple game to breeze through and enjoy a ride with, while Zero Horizon Dawn looks to be a story with beautiful gameplay and an intriguing story. God of War should be just as brutal as it’s predecessors, and the new mythology will be amazing to see. Make sure to check these most anticipated open world games for PS4.
